Tessa Sidey, Curator of Prints and Drawings at BM&AG for nearly 30 years, died on New Year's Day 2011 after a long illness. On her death, Tessa generously bequeathed to the Museum 33 20th-century prints, drawings and studio ceramics from her private collection. An exhibition of these works of art will be in Gallery 20.
